- Polls have formally closed in Turkey’s run-off election pitting incumbent President Recep Tayyip Erdogan against main opposition leader, Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
- Results are expected later on Sunday.
- In the first round of voting on May 14, Erdogan got 49.5 percent of support and Kilicdaroglu received 44.9 percent.
- The elected president will set policy on Turkey’s economy, security, domestic and international affairs.

Erdogan and Kilicdaroglu face off in the race to lead Turkey for the next five years.
