October 8 Brett Kavanaugh takes the judicial oath from Anthony Kennedy, the man he replaced on the US Supreme Court, during a ceremonial swearing-in at the White House. Joining Kavanaugh were his wife, Ashley, and his two daughters, Margaret and Elizabeth. President Donald Trump was also there for the ceremony.
